He was and is a husband, father and grandfather. Not only did he give his all for this country he did for his community as a firefighter/EMS for 50 years in the NESCONSET fire department. He returned from Vietnam after 2 tours not the same man (as per my mom) he gave his all to everyone. He is still missed every moment of every day by his family and friends he was an amazing veteran that gave his all to anyone he came in contact with he is loved and missed by his wife if 56 yrs, 6 children and 15 grandchildren. I think that’s what makes his life so successful. He’s seen joy, he’s seen sadness…he’s seen life. Popi you are missed more than words can say. Your great-grandson is so kind, funny, and smart. It would have been amazing to see the two of you interact. He adores animals, and is so curious about everything. But best of all, he loves to make other people laugh! I'm sure one day when he is old enough, he will be drawing eyes on the plastic bananas to make them look like dolphins, just like you used to do with Grandma. Loving and missing you always.
