“Remember, Honor, Teach” means remembering those who served, honoring them, and then teaching others how to honor them too. It’s a cycle of respect that I’m proud to be part of.

My favorite part of wreath ceremony day was setting up the crosses — it was fun, and it felt good to help create something meaningful for our community. CAP has taught me a lot about what it means to serve. If I had to sum CAP up in three words, I’d say volunteer service, excellence, and trustworthiness.

My favorite part of being a cadet is easy: Senior Member Webb’s cookies — definitely. Beyond the cookies, CAP is helping me work toward my dream of getting my pilot’s license. Every activity gives me more confidence and shows me what leadership really looks like.

I’ve learned how to speak up, step forward, and be a leader. CAP pushes me to grow, and Wreaths Across America gives me a chance to honor the people who made our freedom possible.

I am Cadet Senior Airman John Kramer of the Civil Air Patrol Magic City Composite Squadron in Minot and I am proud to be supporting Wreaths Across America. “Remember, Honor, Teach” reminds me to remember the fallen and honor their loss. Wreaths Across America gives me a way to show that respect in a real, hands-on way.

My favorite part of ceremony day is working as a team. There’s something powerful about everyone coming together for the same purpose. CAP has been a huge part of that for me — planes, learning, and honestly, lots of fun. My favorite parts of being a cadet are flying, friends, and Senior Member Webb's cookies. It’s a good mix.

I’m not totally sure what I want to do yet, but maybe I’ll become a pilot. CAP is helping me figure that out by giving me leadership opportunities and real aviation experience. I’ve learned a lot through the program — knowledge, listening, and how to pay attention to the people around me.

I’m proud to be part of something that honors those who served and teaches the next generation why their sacrifice matters and I am working to support Wreaths Across America here in Minot for my Civil Air Patrol Squadron.
