My father fought at the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne. He didn’t share many stories but he was a wonderful patriot and loved our country. I visited Bastogne many years later in his name. I met several elderly people who remembered the battle and hugged me because of him and the brave soldiers who fought there. They blessed our country for what they did. They built a beautiful memorial on the site to honor the Americans who gave their lives. Our family is so very proud of our father and our country. Thank you to our Military for your service and sacrifice.
