Born 1/1/1829
In honor of Richard Campbell, my great-great-great uncle, brother of Enoch Campbell, my great-great-grandfather. Enlisted 21st Indiana Infantry, reorganized to the 1st Indiana Heavy Artillery Regiment, 1861. Commissioned Captain 29 July 1861. Died of smallpox near Spanish Fort, AL, 1865. Gone, but not forgotten by family.
